India condemns terror attack in Kabul

India strongly condemned the cowardly suicide terror attack in Kabul. Extending, heartfelt condolences, India wish early recovery to the injured.

It added that Indian remains steadfast in its solidarity with the Government and the people of Afghanistan at this difficult time. India is committed to extend all possible support in their fight against the menace of terrorism and efforts to bring peace, stability and security in the country.

A string of suicide bombings killed 41, and injured 84 others yesterday at a cultural center in the Afghan capital Kabul.

The Islamic State militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani strongly condemned the attack and has ordered a thorough investigation.
